Подготовка к Глобальному молодёжному форуму ЮНЕСКО обсуждена в Алматы

Посол по особым поручениям – руководитель Представительства Министерства иностранных дел Республики Казахстан в г. Алматы Жанибек Абдрашов провёл встречу с директором Регионального офиса ООН по вопросам образования, науки и культуры для Казахстана, Кыргызстана и Таджикистана Амиром Пиричем.

Стороны подвели итоги сотрудничества в 2024 году, отметив значимые достижения по реализации проектов по решению водных вопросов и борьбе с изменением климата. Особое внимание было уделено инициативе Казахстана по созданию Регионального центра ООН по устойчивому развитию для Центральной Азии и Афганистана в Алматы, которая получила поддержку всех стран региона и Генерального секретаря ООН.

Представитель ЮНЕСКО подчеркнул важность дальнейшего расширения партнёрских отношений и отметил визит Генерального директора ЮНЕСКО Одрэ Азуле в 2023 году как важный шаг в развитии двустороннего сотрудничества.

Отдельное внимание было уделено Глобальному молодёжному форуму ЮНЕСКО, который пройдет 19-20 февраля 2025 года в Алматы и станет платформой для обмена мнениями и выработки решений в области образования, науки и культуры среди молодёжи региона.
