В МИД Казахстана обсудили сотрудничество с ООН-Женщины

Первый заместитель министра иностранных дел Республики Казахстан Акан Рахметуллин встретился с Региональным директором ООН-Женщины для стран Европы и Центральной Азии Белен Санс Люке в рамках её первого визита в нашу страну.

В ходе встречи стороны обсудили ключевые аспекты сотрудничества, направленные на укрепление гендерного равенства и расширение прав и возможностей женщин в Казахстане.

Приветствуя представителя ООН, А.Рахметуллин отметил, что Казахстан рассматривает гендерное равенство одним из ключевых направлений политических реформ, в связи с чем продолжит активное участие в процессах, приуроченных к 30-летию Пекинской декларации и Платформы действий.

Стороны также обсудили итоги прошедшей обзорной встречи Пекин+30, экспертные консультации по повестке «Женщины, мир и безопасность», а также региональную конференцию Центральноазиатского альянса по искоренению гендерного насилия.

А.Рахметуллин выразил поддержку реализации региональных проектов в сфере гендерной политики, при этом подчеркнув важность продвижения казахстанских инициатив.

Представитель ООН-Женщины отметила готовность оказывать дальнейшую поддержку и содействие Казахстану в реализации глобальной гендерной повестки.

По итогам встречи стороны договорились укреплять партнёрство и развивать сотрудничество по приоритетным направлениям в рамках глобальной и региональной повестки по гендерному равенству.
