14 июля 2023 года состоялась встреча Генерального Прокурора Берика Асылова с заместителем Генерального секретаря ООН, Главой Контртеррористического управления ООН Владимиром Воронковым.

На мероприятии также участвовали делегация Контртеррористического управления ООН, сотрудники Министерства иностранных дел и Генеральной прокуратуры.

Стороны обсудили вопросы двухстороннего сотрудничества в сфере противодействия терроризму и экстремизму.

Генпрокурор проинформировал гостей о вкладе Республики Казахстан в борьбу с терроризмом и экстремизмом, приоритетных направлениях надзорного органа и развитии международно-правового сотрудничества в данной сфере.

Он также подчеркнул, что Казахстан является активным участником глобального диалога по противодействию международному терроризму и экстремизму.

В свою очередь, Владимир Воронков выразил заинтересованность в укреплении двустороннего взаимодействия.

По итогам встречи достигнута договоренность о партнерстве в борьбе с современными глобальными вызовами.
